For the past 17 years, Ellen DeGeneres has shown us how to be kind and to love one another. What was once just an hour of TV a day is now billions of views of highly shareable, hilarious, eventful and fun content through her new initiative, The Ellen Digital Network. Through “EDN”, Ellen is able to bring her ethos to partner with brands in an impactful and meaningful way.
I’m currently a Visual Designer for The Ellen Digital Network creating an entirely new ecosystem of design, promotional, and branding elements to infuse the Ellen ethos with other brands.
01. The Truth Comes Out!
From the creators of Heads Up! and PSYCH! comes The Truth Comes Out, a new party game all about you and your friends, that you can play anywhere, anytime!
I was one of many designers to help build a robust User Journey and brand elements for this all new branded game with Scotch Brand Tape!
Question Of The Day User Journey: Working alongside a Product Manager and Coordinator, we came up with the idea of focusing on Scotch Brand’s iconic tape branding with the look of the overall game screens.
02. Heads Up!
It's the game The New York Times called a "Sensation," and Cosmopolitan said, "It will be the best dollar you've spent.” Heads Up! is the fun and hilarious game from Ellen DeGeneres that she plays on her show, and you can play with your friends!
I had the opportunity to create a custom Heads Up! Deck for a partnership with Paramount Pictures’s Bumblebee Movie.
Heads Up! Bumblebee Custom Deck: This deck was created for Ellen’s partnership with Paramount Picture’s exciting new Transformers standalone Bumblebee! The concept behind this game was to get your partner to guess the greatest pairings of all time!
03. Cobranded Fun on the Ellenshop
Ellenshop is a place that traditionally sells merchandise from The Show that people love! Through this love, our Director of Media saw the potential to grow revenue by including brands on the fun. A Lead Media Planner and I were tasked to create co-branded media placements to grow revenue on the Ellenshop website for merchandising brands looking for a space to sell products. But not just products, products that are meaningful to Ellen!
Below is an “Ellenshop Partner Of The Month” Page I created so Ellen could have the opportunity to have brand’s sell on her exclusive merchandise website!
The promotional Ad from the home page links to the custom Partner of The Month Page. Once the user clicks on the Generate Discount Code, the user is sent to the partnered brand’s website to use a special one-time Ellen code.
